The first time they brought Venom to the big screen it wasn’t all that great in the Spiderman 3 by Sam Raimi that also involved a emo Spiderman that wore the black suit with an very unbelievable Eddie Brock. The Venom from that movie more so correlates to the Venom that Im used to that started off with spiderman then moved to Eddy Brock cause he was mad at Spiderman the same way the Venom suit was mad at him. Just a little back story on who I expected but know wouldn’t be there I also thought that they would have went the rated R rout with this character being that this is one of the more darker characters in the Marvel line up. In reality I feel like they were going the rated R route and then chickened out at the last minute. Well with that the movie was entertaining but not the greatest story to come along for the character but better then his last appearance on the big screen. Venom’s powers and character were all still kind of there a little less evil since he starting off as an anti-hero not a villain. The movie gives you a nice balance between character building and Venom action. The movie gives good action but I feel like if they added in the Rated R blood and cussing it would have added a little more. All in all if you wanted to wait on this one I understand but if u want to see a super hero movie now I say go ahead its no unwatchable it just feels like they could have made a better movie going the rated R route.
