Florida-born rapper XXXTentacion reportedly died on Monday. He was twenty years old.

According to TMZ, the rapper was shot in Miami as he was leaving a motorcycle dealership. A statement obtained by TMZ from the Broward County Sheriff Department stated that Onfroy was pronounced dead as a result of his wounds, with first responders claiming he had no pulse before authorities arrived on the scene.

Utilizing Soundcloud and YouTube as his platform, XXXTentacion rose from obscurity becoming a confrontational commercial success with his 2017 debut album 17. . Triple X followed up 17 with this year’s chart-topping ?, released last March.

XXXTentacion was awaiting trial for a number of felonies, including domestic violence charges, and was allowed out from house arrest following the release of his album so he could tour. No suspects have been named, nor have any been apprehended.
