Today were are going on a Rampage lol a movie that doesn’t quite hit the mark and seems to be a bit of a corn ball attempt at turning a video game franchise into a viable movie. So of course they throw in The Rock to make the movie do box office since he is an action or movie star and brings a crowd with him. The movies story doesn’t really work for me since there is a bunch of holes in the plot from how does some type of pathogen of this scale not have some type of GPS feature to it and how are these animals not constantly eating? The monsters are cool for sure well at least I like them since I’m always up for a big monster mash up flick. I think if you have watched any large monster movies you’ve definitely seen this one the military wont listen to the scientist and want to just nuke and kill them, even though the scientist know how to cure them. Then you got the rock in there because he has a bond with the Gorilla and he has military training and helicopter skills basically the same character from San Andreas. I think the best part of this whole experience is the fight between the monsters since nothing the military does comes close to slowing these creatures down. All in all you will be somewhat entertained but just turn off your brain and wait for the Wrestle Mania at the end because you’ve seen most of this movie before even the antenna on a skyscraper. (TMNT, The Amazing Spiderman, etc…..)
