For Seana Marie Chang her journey is much bigger than coast to coast, it is international coast to coast. Originally from Hollywood, Florida and currently residing in New York City Seana also spent time in Ireland where she studied in high school and college living right off the coast of Belfast where she says she learned a lot about herself and her goals.
“I actually didn’t like it there (In Ireland) because I got bullied a lot,” said Seana. “I always wanted to get away, now it is more diverse out there, but back then it wasn’t and it was hard for me because I didn’t look like the typical girl from Ireland.”
In fact Seana is far from typical. Not only is she a qualified model she is also a professional go go dancer while spending time bartending in the biggest city in America. Her diverse styles directly reflect her mixed heritage of Irish, Chinese, Jamaican and Portuguese she has smooth skin that glimmers when a camera flashes, she has a natural knack to captures still shots which photographers love and have since her days in child modeling.
A recent shoot in NYC by FLVR head man Carlos Imani was just another example of Seana’s ability to shine when its go time, but modeling is just one thing she loves. The next goal is to open her own dance studio and she is currently in the process of making it happen even though the city is a tough rat race.
“I really like it here, it can definitely be hectic, but it is all about focus for me, ” explained Seana. “You can never get caught up with just one thing, I have choose to get out and meet people networking is very important.”
