Eyes:
Prime with Urban Decay Primer Potion to prevent creasing. I used a golden copper color on the lid and a deep brown shimmer color on the outter corners (M’.A.C. “Amber Lights” and “Make Your Mark). To blend into the crease I used a warm medium brown tone (M.A.C. “Uninterrupted”) and a medium-dark brown (Lorac “Sable”). To highlight the brow bone and inner corners I used a light peachy/gold tone shadow (M.A.C. “Ricepaper” and “Carefree”). And finally I used Red Cherry “WSP” lashes and Too Faced – Lash Injection mascara.

Face:
After moisturizing (my favorite is Embryolisse Lait-Crerme Concentre) I used and oil controlling primer (Becca Ever-Matte). I used concealer under the eyes and a bit onto the upper cheek bone area to highlight, as well as any spots that need concealing (It Cosmetics Bye-Bye Under Eye “Tan”). After concealer I used a M.A.C. Face and Body foundation in “C3” and blended with a Beauty Blender. I set the under eye area with powder to prevent creasing (Ben Nye Banana Powder) and then set the foundation with M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish in “Medium Tan”. To contour I used a deep bronze in the hollows beneath the cheek bones, sides of the nose and along the hairline (NARS “Laguna” and “Casino”). For the highlight I chose a light bronze to apply to the high points of the cheek bones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow (M.A.C. Mineralize Skinfinish “Soft and Gentle”).

Lips:
I used OCC Stained lipgloss in “Concubine”

and Finally, I set the makeup with Urban Decay “All Nighter” setting spray.

I also added to the look a few times throughout the shoot by changing lip color and adding darker shades to the eye area…

Hair:
Prep hair by using a paddle brush to brush out any tangles and evenly distribute a thermal protectant. My choice for this was “Firewall” by AG Hair Cosmetics, it contains argan oil which helps to provide moisture and shine but can be heavy so avoid the root area.
Section off the hair you are not working with. Next, using a 1 1/4″ curling iron or wand, wrap small sections of hair (slightly larger than the width of the barrel) and wrap the hair around the barrel of the iron leaving the ends out. To achieve a more tousled and lived in look, alternate the directions you curl the hair.
After curling all of the hair, allow the curls to cool and set. After the curls are set use a wide tooth comb or you fingers to separate and break the curls up. Lightly mist with a texture defining spray, I used “Sea Spray” by AG Hair Cosmetics. Scrunch in the texture spray and tease lightly in the crown.
